Up until now, we haven’t been able to share our garlic seed stock, as we’ve been so busy building up our own stock. This year is the first time that we have enough stock to share a little with local gardeners who want to try their hand at growing their own.
What you’ll get:
The variety we have available this year is an Italian purple.
Each order includes two heads of garlic, each with about 10-12 cloves
This gives you enough for 20-24 heads of garlic by Christmas (a single clove will grow into a whole head over 9 months).
Growing notes:
Garlic is a slow grower - you sow the cloves in autumn for a summer harvest. We’ll be planting ours in April, so make sure to pop your order in ASAP and we’ll get it shipped straight to you so that you can do the same.
